To start the year, we’d like to introduce you to our morning Lead Line Cook: Angelo Tolfa II. Angelo is originally from Pittsburgh, PA. He has lived in Bozeman for 10 years and has been with us at The Club for 3 ½ years.
In his spare time, he loves to hiking and mountain biking with his dog Xena. In the summer, you will not find Angelo in town, but rather exploring as much of Montana’s backcountry as possible. He loves the outdoors, except when it gets too cold out, or the weather gets bad, then you can find him playing video games and watching funny movies.
Angelo says he loves working at The Club because of the staff. He loves how much fun everyone is and how everyone supports one another. He also says that the family community vibe that we all share at The Club makes the stress of kitchen life a lot more tolerable than other places he’s worked. The quality of working with fresh products and creating things from scratch rather than opening bags and cans, helps make him and everyone else here more proud of the work they do.
Angelo says if you come for breakfast, don’t miss out on the hand-breaded chicken fried steak with country gravy, or if you come for lunch, to get the French dip. He loves that we roast our own beef and make our own au jus and it shows.
